Responsibilities

Performs administrative work in providing support services such as fiscal, personnel, payroll or procurement in a small division or equivalent organization level

Work is typically varied and includes inter- and intra-governmental and public contact

Required

Graduation from an accredited college or university
One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid employment in a technical or advanced clerical position providing administrative services such as accounting, budgeting, project monitoring and reporting, personnel, or procurement and property. Experience must have been at the Office Assistant 3 or Accounting Technician 3 level or higher
Your complete work history is needed to qualify you for positions. Please be as detailed as possible and list all of your past employment
All college, university or vocational school education, licensure or certification must be verified by attaching a copy of an official transcript, license, or certificate to your online application or by emailing it to the West Virginia Division of Personnel

Preferred

Preference may be given to candidates with a major in the area of public or business administration, accounting, industrial relations, communications or related fields
Successful completion of graduate study in an accredited college or university in one of the above fields may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
