Quality / Process Engineer

They are seeking a Quality / Process Engineer to ensure that products, processes, and systems meet quality and safety standards through the development of quality control systems and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

Develop & Implement Quality Systems: Create and maintain quality control procedures, testing frameworks, and documentation
Inspection & Testing: Plan and oversee product inspections and tests to verify conformance to specifications. Knowledge of measurement systems
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality data, identify trends, and generate reports for management
Problem Solving: Investigate product complaints, perform root cause analysis, and work with teams to implement corrective actions
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production and engineering processes, recommending adjustments
Supplier Quality: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards
Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO) and regulatory requirements
Training: Train staff on quality policies, procedures, and tools

Qualification

Required

10-years experience in high volume automotive or defense manufacturing, supporting first article approvals and production launches
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Familiarity with quality control software, statistical analysis, and methodologies (like Six Sigma, FMEA). Understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Understanding of relevant ISO standards and regulatory requirements
CMM Programming and Operation: Measurement of GD&T characteristics
Level II or III NDT Technician: Ultrasonic Inspection
This position requires you to be onsite daily
This position is primarily in an office environment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Influencing skills to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing professional presence
