Responsibilities
Develop enterprise-wide pricing and promotion strategies
Be a key business consultant to merchants and develop relationships with buyers, senior buyers and leaders
Partner with Marketing to bring offers to life for guests
Work closely with Store Operations, Finance and other key support areas
Lead the development of the promotional roadmap for a division and its businesses
Use and shape leading-edge tools and business insights to develop recommendations, processes and continuous improvements
Create and use an analytic fact base to facilitate strategy setting, decision making, opportunity sizing and communication in relevant forums
Continuously innovate processes, tools and build partnerships to improve the inputs and outputs of the strategy
Qualification
Required
4-year degree or equivalent work experience
Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills; can easily translate data from an array of sources into insights and recommendations
Demonstrated ability to develop and translate strategy to action and adjust strategy based on changing market conditions
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and cross functional partner teams
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to simultaneously manage a variety of priorities
Assertiveness and strong initiative
Travel < 25%
