Responsibilities
Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and integration test articles
Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM
Leading the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, optics, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence
Managing drawing releases, answering CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews
Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, optical performance, and structural/thermal benefits
Interfacing directly with a optical and sensor manufacturers to ensure product integrity in accordance with design requirements, performance, and test parameters, as well as design reviews and deliverables are achieved on schedule
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen
This position requires a Secret security clearance
Strong background in hardware design
Requirements of optical hardware
Experience with Windchill PLM
