Assistant Professor - Biomedical Engineering

Responsibilities
Design and improve biomedical equipment and devices that enhance medical and surgical outcomes
Test, refine, and evaluate existing medical devices; develop prototypes and new product concepts
Collaborate with investigators, clinicians, and research teams to interpret technical requirements and translate them into engineering solutions
Plan, conduct, and oversee experimental design and research studies
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, institutional policies, and safety standards
Perform data analysis, interpret results, and prepare technical reports, publications, and documentation
Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings relevant to ongoing research
Utilize or develop software tools for device testing, simulation, and evaluation
Assist in developing procedures for evaluating new equipment and technologies
Provide technical expertise and support to research teams and Core users
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Engineering or a closely related field
10 years of relevant biomedical engineering experience
Preferred
Ph.D. in Engineering or related biomedical discipline
