Content and Curriculum Director
Teachers of Tomorrow is the leading national alternative certification program provider, aiming to empower educators through high-quality training and support. The Content and Curriculum Director will lead curriculum strategy and ensure a high-quality learning experience for candidates by managing content development and technology implementation.
Education
Responsibilities
Lead core curriculum and assessment strategy for core learning products and internal test prep
Create common set of content standards and style guides across test prep and core product to ensure consistency and quality
Create repeatable set of content development and quality assurance review processes to ensure fidelity to state standards, reduction of errors, and simplified user experience
Determine strategic content and platform priorities and deliver on time and budget by leading team of 5 FT employees and 30+ contractors
Manage instructor grading, training office hours, and onboarding/calibration processes
Recruit and onboard subject matter experts to author and create content
Represent the content author needs and learner needs with technology team Evaluating technology and content vendors to accelerate content production and ensure student retention and engagement
Create and execute against product and content roadmaps for TLL and Core Products
Create crosswalks, content alignment and development plans for new and revised courses in alignment with state requirements
Partner with CPO to drive execution of core strategic priorities
Conduct customer research to ensure product-market fit and drive top-line growth opportunities
Manage content development and instructor grading budgets
Create and optimize course training tracks for learning and completion
Using reporting and customer data and insights, create content revision plans and execute on them in alignment with continuous improvement processes
Oversee content development and ensure compliance and alignment with state and national accreditation standards
Recruit and onboard subject matter experts to ensure current content aligned with research-based strategies
Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors' degree in Education or related field required
3-5 years managing content developers and leading high performing teams in content/product development
5-7 years as a content manager, curriculum/instructional designer, and/or product owner in K-12 education
Strong communication and leadership skills
Strong organization and project management ability
Experience managing and setting budgets
Understanding of AI and content authoring tools and integrating them into content development
Experience working with adult learners and online instruction
Preferred
Masters' degree preferred
Experience as classroom teacher or administrator preferred
Experience in Product Management
Experience in Content Management and Instructional Design
