Responsibilities
The intern will manage a program design and implementation project that supports the flexible load/demand response segment
As part of this project, the intern will collaborate with utility teams to help design and develop customer flex load program's components
Examples include stakeholder mapping, technical knowledge, program guidelines, requirements, and all other elements of creating an energy program
The intern will also perform independent research on best practices for developing a virtual power plant (VPP)
The intern may contribute to other SD&M work as needed
Qualification
Required
Graduate students will need to maintain a 3.0 GPA or above throughout the internship
Enrolled in an accredited graduate program during their internship
Enrolled in an academic program with focus on Business, Management, Energy, Environment & Systems Design
Preferred
Possess an interest in the sustainable energy industry and have exposure to program design, program management, process management, documentation structure development, change management, Microsoft office, SharePoint, and Teams, either through education, professional or personal work
Eager to learn about the intricacies of flexible load/demand response resources for utility and its customers, and apply those learnings to their work
