SureScan Corporation is seeking a Technician for NPI Engineering 1, responsible for building new Cable & Harness products under the guidance of the Engineering Group. The role requires understanding schematics, performing manufacturing operations, and writing processes for new products while ensuring clear communication.

Responsibilities

Building new Cable & Harness products under the guidance of the Engineering Group
Understanding schematics, dimensions, and performing required manufacturing operations
Learning to write a process while building a new product to establish manufacturing production process
Following verbal instructions and general manufacturing designs/drawings/diagrams
Using computer programs/software specific to the manufacturing process
Recognizing non-conformance or problems in processes and procedures
Performing basic navigation through Customer prints, wiring diagrams and customer supplied documentation to build new products
Evaluating and making recommendations on process/product issues
Troubleshooting any problems and performing required preventative maintenance with direction from engineering
Providing work direction and training to others as requested
Adhering to established safety practices and quality system requirements

Required

Manufacturing experience with technical insight on specific equipment or processes
Ability to follow verbal instructions and general manufacturing designs/drawings/diagrams
Computer skills and use of computer programs/software specific to the manufacturing process
Understands processes and procedures and can recognize non-conformance or problems
Experience with building Cable Assemblies
Basic reading, writing and math skills with min high school diploma or equivalent
IPC 610 / 620 certifications and familiar with ISO 9000 standards
Typically requires 0-2 years of prior manufacturing and hands-on experience
Intuitive Software Experience
Familiar with Computer software with Microsoft Office
Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must be able to work with direction in a team environment
Perform basic navigation through Customer prints, wiring diagrams and customer supplied documentation to build new products
Understanding Requirements, Notes & Specs called out on drawings
Knowledge of tools & many operations
Ability of taking pictures with approved camera to assist with process writing
Ability to evaluate and make recommendations on process/product issues
Ability to Troubleshoot any problems
Ability to perform required preventative maintenance with direction from engineering
Accountable for individual results
Receives detail instructions on all work
Provides work direction and training to others as requested
Work within a team environment
Adaptable and flexible to changing demands and work schedules/assignments
Knowledge and participation in the 5S Program
Adheres to established safety practices and quality system requirements
