Responsibilities

Perform a variety of waterline, pumping, storage, and source development, sewer collection or hydrology and hydraulic (H&H) design for municipal or local agency groups
Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of water, sewer or H&H projects
Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
Take ownership of project tasks from start to finish
Communicates with supervisors and teams including from other offices

Qualification

Civil Engineering degreeFundamentals of Engineering ExamAutoCAD Civil 3DHydraulics experienceVerbal communicationWritten communicationOrganizational skillsTeamworkSelf-motivated

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
0-4+ years of experience in civil design is preferred. Entry-level candidates will be considered
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices
Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets
Acceptable verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management
Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goal
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering
Hydraulics and water/sewer experience is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
