Marwood Group is seeking a Senior Analyst/Associate in Revenue Cycle Management to lead and support revenue cycle transformation initiatives at client sites. Responsibilities

Support ongoing Revenue Cycle implementation projects and own specific initiative /implementation activities from planning through execution and transition to client owners
Execute day-to-day project tasks including workflow analysis, process mapping, and gap assessments
Assist in the design and implementation of best-practice workflows across registration, coding, billing, and collections functions
Gather and analyze operational and financial data to identify improvement opportunities and track project performance
Conduct comprehensive workflow analysis, process mapping, and gap assessments across RCM functions
Document current state processes, develop future state recommendations, and support implementation of approved changes
Drives work transition to designated client stakeholder at the end of the engagement including training of designee(s) to hardwire process changes
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned workstreams, interfacing directly with client managers and directors
Interface directly with rank-and-file client staff to understand operational challenges and drive adoption of new processes
Facilitate client meetings, working sessions, and training activities
Build and maintain positive working relationships with client stakeholders at all levels
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to the engagement leadership and offer mitigation recommendations
Identify opportunities for engagement expansion and support business development activities
Gather, analyze, and interpret operational and financial data to identify improvement opportunities and validate recommendations
Develop data-driven recommendations supported by modeling and ROI analysis
Build performance dashboards and KPI scorecards to track project progress and demonstrate value realization
Support EHR/PM system optimization initiatives and technology-enabled process improvements
Prepare high-quality client deliverables including presentations, reports, process documentation, and training materials
Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and performance scorecards to communicate key metrics and progress
Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job aids to support sustainable client operations
Contribute to internal knowledge management, methodology development, and firm-wide best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field
3–6 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, healthcare operations, or healthcare consulting
Demonstrated expertise or extensive working knowledge of end-to-end revenue cycle functions including patient access, charge capture, coding, billing, denials management, and collections
Hands-on experience with healthcare IT systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other major EHR/PM platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders
Willingness to travel up to 75% as required by client engagements

Preferred

Master's degree in healthcare administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or related field
Professional certifications such as CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative), CHFP, CPC, or CCS/CCA
Prior consulting or advisory experience in a professional services environment
Experience with data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL) and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, payer regulations, compliance standards)
