CNC Programmer Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite)
RTX is a company focused on transforming the future of flight, and they are seeking a CNC Programmer Manufacturing Engineer to support machining new parts in their Special Technologies business. The role involves developing tooling and process parameters, testing and implementing machining programs, and performing technology and process development tasks.

Responsibilities
Develop tooling, process parameters, and controls to create a capable and stable process
Develop, test, and implement programs to machine hardware (milling, turning, grind, etc.)
Create work instructions for development hardware
Perform technology and process development tasks; including, first piece runs, measurement system analysis and capability assessments
Implementation of lean process improvements activities to meet schedule and cost targets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science or other related Bachelors' degree
Experience in CNC machine programming
5+ years of engineering experience
CAD experience is required
Must be a US Citizen due to Government Contracts
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
Preferred
Proficiency in the application of continuous improvement tools: Process Certification, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, PFMEA, Six Sigma and/or Red-X
