Responsibilities
Work directly with the Senior Purchasing Agent to determine need, create purchase orders, and communicate directly with vendors on price, lead time, and delivery dates
Monitor and report all materials utilized on grant projects. Produce invoicing, pricing, and material quantities at all stages of a project to ensure correct reimbursement from government agencies
Analyze min/max levels and lead time to create purchase orders for all locations in a timely manner
Monitor and procure all consumable items, janitorial supplies, and items as directed for all locations
Communicate directly with vendors for the best pricing and material agreements where needed
Monitor, create, and respond to requests from employees for internal material purchases
Other tasks as specified
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
3 years of documented purchasing experience, preferably in a corporate setting
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools
Highly analytical and able to process large amounts of raw data
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Self-motivated; able to recognize and complete a task with minimal guidance
A true team player that integrates well with all employees
Preferred
Previous experience with government grants
