Senior Material Analyst - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Coordinate material kitting in support of assembly floor need, working closely with the on-campus Forward Stocking Location (FSL) and remote warehouses
Utilize Lean principles to establish world-class Materials Flow/Synchronization within the value stream
Support shortage management process
Oversee materials/logistics issues
Coordinate with Engine and Module Assembly to ensure parts are available when needed
Participate in making allocation/priority decisions on critical hardware
Utilize/operate Andon system in support of assembly floor requirements
Support efforts to drive cost & lead time reductions

Required

Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' experience in a materials, supply chain/logistics, shop floor or similar environment or a Master's degree and minimum 3 years' experience in a materials, supply chain/logistics, shop floor or similar environment
Knowledge of logistics, operations, inventory management, and/or supply chain
Experience with Enterprise Planning Resource (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software. SAP highly preferred
Experience with Microsoft office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Preferred

Working knowledge in SAP
Continuous Improvement problem solving background
Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred
Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines
Project management and operations experience
