Office Assistant
The City of Fort Worth is one of the fastest growing large cities in the U.S. and is seeking a part-time Office Assistant for the Police Department Gun Violence Unit. This role provides administrative and clerical support to unit personnel and assists with daily office operations in support of investigative staff.

Responsibilities
Reviewing offense reports for the supervisor
Maintaining the Unit’s budget
Reviewing and assigning cases to the investigators
Categorizing and maintaining case files to be reviewed by the District Attorney’s office
Answering phones and ordering office supplies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED certification
Two (2) years of responsible clerical experience
Must pass Drug Screen and background check
Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility
Preferred
Proficient working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong organizational skills
Able to work in a team atmosphere
