Senior Benefits Strategy Consultant

Responsibilities
Performing and interpreting financial analysis of benefit plan trends, developing and analyzing data to evaluate trends, and ensuring cost-effectiveness of benefits programs
Ensuring all benefits programs comply with Affordable Care Act (ACA), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), and other legal or regulatory requirements, while interpreting benefit plans, insurance policy documents, and collective bargaining contracts
Developing benefits strategies aligned with business objectives, managing relationships with vendors/benefits providers, and negotiating contracts to secure the best value
Supporting processes related to interpretation of collective bargaining contracts, project management, employee engagement, and/or risk management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired
3+ years of related experience in healthcare benefits preferably mental health
Certification is required in some areas
Experience working with healthcare providers (vendors) and ability to hold them accountable
Ability to analyze and interpret data and present to Senior Leadership
Knowledge of Mental Healthcare benefits
