Executive Assistant to the Chief Ambulatory Officer

Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant will independently plan, coordinate, and implement policies and procedures to support the Chief Ambulatory Officer (CAO), so that all regulatory requirements are met
Acts as a communication liaison with UW Medicine leadership and community leaders as needed
Communication and Liaison with various stakeholders, ensuring clear conveyance of the CAO’s messages and managing feedback appropriately
Operate independently, make decisions and take actions with delegated authority to support high-level executives, including the CAO
Managing time-sensitive communications, which requires the ability to quickly and accurately convey information to various audiences
Meeting the demands of competing stakeholders, each with unique needs and expectations
This role requires outstanding writing abilities and the ability to communicate verbally with senior leaders, staff, and the general public
Records, composes and edits minutes of meetings as requested
Independently managing both short-term tasks and long-term projects
Handling highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
Serves as a confidential liaison to the Chief Ambulatory Officer and manages the executive calendar and coordinates day-to-day activities of the Chief Ambulatory Office
Independently arranges and coordinates committee meetings, special events, open forums, and other hospital activities
Schedules appropriate accommodation, orders/operates equipment, and coordinates logistical activities as needed
Utilizing various software and tools for document preparation, calendar management, and communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related degree
5 years' experience supporting a C level executive
Equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirement
