Responsibilities
Provide expertise in nuclear operations and technology to include logistics
Review vendor technical approaches and products
Develop and review project documentation
Perform systems engineering functions
Contribute to project status reporting
Support external agency coordination with DoW, DoE, and others as assigned
Qualification
Required
A degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, or a BS degree in a related technical discipline from an ABET accredited institution is required
Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a BS degree with at least 17 years of relevant experience in nuclear technology, operations and logistics
Significant understanding of the operation of nuclear systems and the ability to extend that knowledge to space applications, namely nuclear thermal and nuclear electric propulsion
Strong project management, communication, teamwork, and productivity skillsets are required
Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred
Experience in DoW, DoE or other external agencies is desired
