Responsibilities

Learn about the structural and mechanical infrastructure needed to support a Quantum System
Gain hands-on skills in the Quantum environment while working with specialized equipment
Utilize software design tools to design and implement hardware components
Use AutoCAD and other design software to design hardware components then implement and test their design
Have an understanding of physical structures and their weight bearing abilities
Have a sense of a lab/datacenter environment, cooling, water supply and power needs

Required

Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior, in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, or similar program
Have a broad mechanical understanding and experience with CAD modeling, simulation, assembly, fabrication, and basic electrical systems
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Have ability and motivation to work in a hands-on environment (e.g. labs / datacenters)
