Responsibilities
Compose correspondence memo, reports, etc. as appropriate
Types, formats and proof read a variety of materials including correspondence, reports, surveys, minutes of meetings, etc
Answers telephone, receives and delivers messages, routes calls and other departments as appropriate
Assembles and checks for the completeness of surgical, endoscopy, and procedural charts
Supports and implements quality improvement efforts and assists creating an environment that reflects such support
Possesses a high degree of administrative/organization skills that enhance the operation of Surgical Services and Pre-Admission Testing. Provides pertinent information in a prompt and efficient manner
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Must have at least one year of clerical experience
Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred
Medical clerical experience preferred
