Responsibilities
Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center
Responsible for assisting the nurse in providing care to mother and infant during labor and post delivery
Responsible for stocking rooms, cleaning and checking equipment and other duties as assigned
Provides surgical assistance to the obstetrician during C/sections and tubal ligations
Care provided is directed by the RN and within the OBT's performance standards
Responsible for the receptionist and secretarial duties on the unit while functioning as a communication source
Ability to provide care, observe, and obtain information, understand the range of treatment needed, and report significant findings to the appropriate care giver to ensure that appropriate care is provided to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
Qualification
Required
2-4 years
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
Preferred
High School Diploma
High School Graduate
