Responsibilities

Maintain surveillance over construction projects to assure that all items of work are in conformance with contract plans and specifications
Conduct appropriate surveillance of contractor workmanship, regulatory plans, methods and practices to ensure compliance with plans and specifications on all phases of construction work
Ensure compliance by contractor with safe working conditions and practices
Serve as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and fully execute responsibilities as assigned
Prepare modifications documents, including estimates and analysis for design changes, differing site conditions, and changes in specifications and drawings

Required

U.S. Citizenship
One year of specialized experience which includes: Overseeing construction projects to assure that all items of work are in conformance with contract plans and specifications; Developing modification estimates and time analysis; Recommending correction to construction deficiencies through modification of the contract
Possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles
Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment
Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time
This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R
