Responsibilities
Provides clerical support and performs office duties for the Area Manager and Regional Manager
Performs calendar management, meeting scheduling, and front desk duties
Answering phones, checking email, submitting travel claims, assisting with timesheets, preparing documents, and tracking projects
Adhering to civil service laws, as well as departmental and division rules, policies, and procedures
Demonstrates professionalism, works cooperatively with DOSH/DIR management and employees, stakeholders, and the public, and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be either reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility
The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed of not less than 40 words per minute from ordinary manuscript or printed or typewritten material
You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired
Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date in order to be considered
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
