Facilities Maintenance Manager
All Things Commercial is a self-performing facility maintenance company based in Southeast Texas, seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager. The role involves overseeing technicians, coordinating projects, and ensuring effective communication between facilities managers, clients, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
Hires and trains field technicians
Assists coordinators in procurement of the correct materials needed for jobs
Oversee technicians in the field, ensuring photos and notes are inputted into multiple systems
Decipher technicians notes and re-word for client
Liaison between facilities managers, clients and subcontractors
Technical support for Technicians in the field
Responsible to communicate updates in a timely manner to the Vice President
Maintain inventory in the Technicians vans
Safety discussions with Technicians
Weekly meetings on job flow with Account Managers
Qualification
Required
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in commercial maintenance or construction
Proven experience in a hands on/mechanical setting
Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical, structural, plumbing, and electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot
Must be familiar with a wide variety of hand/power tools and be able to adapt to the use of new tools quickly
Must have reliable transportation to/from work
Must be available after hours to assist technicians and to communicate with clients
Must be available on weekends to facilitate emergencies as needed
Must have a reliable smartphone and be proficient with the usage of various applications
High School diploma/GED or trade school equivalent
Position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Preferred
Must have commercial restaurant and commercial retail experience
Customer service oriented
Team-player who can also work independently
Familiar with commercial parts and materials
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Excellent verbal and written communication
Problem solving/ attention to detail
Time management skills
Mechanically inclined mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills using correct terminology
