Director of Procurement
Keystone Agency Partners is a rapidly growing insurance brokerage platform that partners with independent agencies across the United States. The Director of Procurement will lead the centralized vendor management strategy, overseeing the lifecycle of sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts to support cost optimization and service quality.
Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide procurement strategy, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing all centralized vendor contracts
Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, ensuring consistency, control, and alignment with organizational standards
Partner with executive leadership to identify procurement opportunities that support Keystone’s growth and operational objectives
Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for centralized procurement and vendor management
Lead vendor evaluation, RFP processes, cost analysis, contract negotiation, and approval workflows
Manage contract renewals, amendments, and performance reviews to ensure service quality and fiscal responsibility
Maintain Keystone’s vendor database, contract repository, and renewal calendar
Gather, inventory, and consolidate all vendor contracts from newly acquired agencies
Assess acquired contracts for risk, redundancy, value optimization, and alignment with Keystone standards
Coordinate with integration teams to transition acquired agencies to centralized vendor arrangements when appropriate
Establish standardized procurement processes, policies, and controls across the enterprise
Implement tools and systems for contract tracking, vendor performance monitoring, renewal management, and spend analytics
Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk reduction, workflow improvements, and vendor consolidation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment in procurement activities
Provide contract guidance, negotiation support, and procurement training across Keystone departments and acquired entities
Communicate procurement updates, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
Ensure all contracts meet compliance, legal, financial, and security requirements
Oversee adherence to procurement policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements
Monitor vendor performance, contractual obligations, and service-level agreements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, preferably within insurance, financial services, or complex multi-entity organizations
Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level procurement initiatives and negotiating vendor contracts
Strong experience integrating or restructuring procurement programs in support of acquisitions and organizational growth preferred
Proficiency with procurement systems, contract repositories, and spend‑analytics tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of Salesforce, or comparable CRM platforms
Exceptional negotiation, vendor management, and contract interpretation skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities with attention to detail
Strategic, execution-focused mindset with the ability to translate strategy into actionable outcomes
Ability to navigate complexity, drive clarity, and lead change across stakeholders
Collaborative leadership style with an emphasis on transparency, trust, and alignment
Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law
