Responsibilities
Innovative Design: Draw from our standard library to create flow diagrams, network layouts, and electrical schematics that breathe life into projects
Smart Programming: Code custom HVAC control software using proven design standards, ensuring peak performance and reliability
Design Communication: Coordinate detailed drawings and equipment schedules for submittals that make your vision crystal-clear
Project Execution: Select, order, and manage materials, and align with factory-mounting timelines to keep every project humming smoothly
Hands-On Commissioning: Collaborate during installation to validate full system functionality, troubleshoot roadblocks, and deliver seamless operation
As-Built Precision: Capture field updates, revise system documentation, and prepare comprehensive operation manuals
Customer Collaboration: Keep stakeholders in the loop on progress and provide site-specific training to operators who will rely on your work every day
Documentation Mastery: Record everything from time sheets to expenses with accuracy and timeliness
Safety Champion: Uphold high safety standards—for yourself, your team, and everyone on-site
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years of real-world experience installing and commissioning Johnson Controls Metasys systems, including system-level controllers
Confident user of Metasys Tools like RAC Schedule, CCT, SCT, and Visio
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
Strong technical aptitude with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and learning new technologies
Advanced computer skills, especially with drafting tools, to translate vision into design
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, Computer Science—or equivalent field experience
5+ years in the HVAC industry
Proven track record installing and commissioning control systems
Background in designing or analyzing mechanical/electrical building systems
