They are seeking a QC Tech to perform various routine tests and analyses on materials throughout the production process, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
Performs tests on materials including gradation, material properties, weights, moistures, and other essential tests
Reviews test results to ensure completeness and that all required information is properly documented and reported to the proper plant and to the quality control manager
Reviews procedures used to determine if results have properly utilized data collected and provides unbiased estimate of the conditions being observed
Maintains a clean work area, including tools and machinery, vehicles, and plant labs. Is punctual to work, and practices good safety techniques
Drives company trucks between plants to perform job duties
Responsible for completing area audits
Always maintains work area and equipment in a safe and clean condition
Responsible for abiding by and supporting all company and plant safety policies, rules, and procedures as well as M.S.H.A regulations
Qualification
Required
Must have basic analytical and troubleshooting skills
Requires a basic knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts and the theory and practice of random samplings
Successful completion of high school or GED certificate is required
Must have valid driver's license due to driving company truck between plant locations
Ability to listen and understand information presented through spoken words
Ability to communicate information in speaking
Ability to read and understand information presented in writing
Ability to communicate effectively using appropriate interpersonal skills
Ability to supervise own work and be self-motivated
Ability to abide by company safety policies and procedures and to work safely within a fast-paced environment
Ability to occasionally travel (including overnight) up to one (1) week at a time
