Talent Solutions Consultant

Responsibilities
Provide professional consultation and training on recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices to campus managers engaged in the process of hiring employees in these classifications
Build the professional and support staff workforce and maintain compliance to all federal, state, and university system employment policies
Work closely with other HR Managers and Consultants in Class and Comp and Employee Relations to ensure that recruitment efforts align with the University’s vision, mission, and strategic goals
Plan, develop, and implement recruiting strategies in collaboration with the Talent Solutions Manager and departmental hiring managers
Refine hiring processes and work flows to support operational efficiency
Collaborate with Talent Solutions team members to evaluate and streamline processes and develop innovative recruitment strategies to create diverse high-quality candidate pools based on current and future University needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
Preferred
Knowledge of Federal and State employment and hiring laws and regulations
Experience in developing recruitment strategies and targeted recruitment efforts for difficult to fill positions
Experience working in applicant tracking systems (PeopleAdmin) preferred
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Competency in MS Office with particular focus on Word and Excel
Ability to work with sensitive confidential data and information
Skills: project management, conflict resolution, effective written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Adaptability to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and dealing with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
