Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping cutting‑edge automation solutions—partnering with Project Managers to craft strategic migration roadmaps, build program plans, and develop cost‑effective implementation approaches, all while teaming with Business Development Managers to deliver compelling proposals that win work
As the Lead Engineer, you’ll guide the technical heartbeat of each project: planning, scheduling, and coordinating complex engineering efforts while mentoring early‑career engineers as they grow
You’ll collaborate directly with clients, navigating and resolving technical challenges with confidence and clarity
Every day, you’ll champion EN Automation’s proven engineering processes, innovative design tools, and best practices to elevate project performance
You’ll also drive clarity and alignment by developing and documenting system requirements, test strategies, and commissioning plans—ensuring every control system design and implementation step is seamlessly executed
Qualification
Required
BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3+ years of automation and controls
Knowledge of Aveva Historian
Preferred
Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills and regular interaction with assigned project clients and partners (both internal and external to the company)
Knowledge of multiple industry leading vendor platforms, architectures, and data communications for PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems such as, but not limited to, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Inductive Automation, Aveva/Wonderware, Emerson, and ABB
Good understanding of system data collection, database management, and data analytics that support client's business decisions
