Retirement Sales Specialist

Responsibilities
In coordination with internal clients, the RPS concierge must develop, direct, implement, and maintain a business plan to achieve sales and growth goals for targeted firms
Develops, maintains, and executes complex internal and external client relationship plans to ensure overall service needs are satisfied and achieve the business/profitability/retention objectives
Serves as a primary point of contact to coordinate all resources, marketing materials, and presentation decks for finals meetings
Present, when necessary, on finals meetings, in person or via conference call, on enrollment support, employee education, implementation process, and client service
Act as an issue resolution point person and liaison between implementation, sales, and clients during the implementation process and transition to account management
Coordination and leadership of initial enrollment meetings of winning finalist plans with Project Enrollment Team
Identifies and resolves complex client concerns in a timely and collaborative manner
Follow up on any outstanding paperwork or action items to insure IGO status on all new plans in pipeline
Works with wholesalers to direct and develop business on behalf of the Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) in a manner that supports a positive company image, in compliance with all required rules and regulations, and ethical in all considerations
Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions
Develops and maintains a strong understanding of LFG's products, services, and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities for your assigned area(s) of responsibility
Develops business on behalf of the Lincoln Financial Group (LFG) in a manner that supports a positive company image, in compliance with all required rules and regulations and ethical in all considerations
Builds and maintains strong business relationships with key sales clients to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, targets or objectives for your assigned area(s) of responsibility
Identifies and recommends to management process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality for your assigned area(s) of responsibility
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance
Serves as a resource to internal and external stakeholders for your assigned area(s) of responsibility
Works with and supports wholesalers to meet sales objectives and goals for your area(s) of responsibility
Builds, enhances, and maintains effective relationships with more complex client organizations to ensure a high level of client satisfaction, retention, sales revenue increase, and profitability
Adheres to LFD’s Culture of Compliance. Complies with LFD’s policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
1-3+ years of experience in the financial services industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this role
Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience
FINRA SIE, Series 6, Series 63, and Life & Health designation required
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures
Attention to detail and ability to evaluate trends in data or information
Ability to write correspondence, policies, and proposals to various targeted audiences
Critical thinker with an ability to analyze information and evaluate the implications of a course of action or strategy
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
Ability to influence outcomes without directing or commanding
Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions and/or presentations
Must be self-motivated with an independent work ethic
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize time while multitasking
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
