Responsibilities

Ensure products and processes adhere to established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Maintain compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and company quality policies
Stay current on regulatory changes that may impact quality systems and manufacturing processes
Conduct quality inspections and audits of products, processes, and systems
Perform visual inspections, measurements, and documentation reviews to identify deviations
Plan, develop, and execute tests to evaluate product performance, functionality, and reliability
Analyze test results and identify defects, trends, or areas for improvement
Manage and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality records
Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation to reflect process or regulatory changes
Ensure document control practices are followed accurately and consistently
Identify, document, and manage nonconformances and quality deviations
Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Validate the effectiveness of corrective actions
Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality
Support validation and verification activities for new or improved processes
Validate and document the impact of process changes on product quality
Establish, monitor, and analyze key quality performance indicators (KPIs)
Prepare quality reports and communicate results to management and stakeholders
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials and components meet quality requirements
Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance evaluations
Provide quality-related training and education to employees on standards, procedures, and best practices
Work closely with production, engineering, R&D, and other departments to support a holistic quality approach
Assess and manage risks related to product and process quality
Collect, analyze, and respond to customer quality feedback and complaints
Use customer input to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
Ensure quality processes align with environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards

Required

Strong knowledge of industry and governmental quality regulations
Experience in implementing, maintaining, and improving quality standards in a production manufacturing environment
Ability to conduct quality inspections and audits of products, processes, and systems
Experience in performing visual inspections, measurements, and documentation reviews
Ability to plan, develop, and execute tests to evaluate product performance, functionality, and reliability
Experience in analyzing test results and identifying defects, trends, or areas for improvement
Ability to manage and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality records
Experience in maintaining and updating Quality Management System (QMS) documentation
