Responsibilities
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine scope of work
Conduct site visits to gather data on project conditions and constraints
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and equipment
Develop comprehensive bid proposals outlining scope, cost breakdown, and key qualifications
Solicit quotes from vendors and subcontractors, maintaining strong supplier relationships
Identify/assess risks that could impact project costs and propose risk mitigation strategies
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and sales teams to refine estimates and ensure alignment with project goals
Qualification
Required
2+ Years in HVAC Estimating
Proficiency in estimating software's
Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
