Business Systems Analysts
University of Utah is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to oversee the security software systems that protect its physical facilities. The role involves managing and optimizing security software, assisting with projects for infrastructure enhancement, and collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure system integration and address vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities
Analyze business issues, define requirements, design computer programs, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational information issues
Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats
Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements
Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep team within timeline and budget
Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications
Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing
Maintain automated system protocols by writing and updating procedures
May create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training
Administer, configure, and maintain the physical access control system
Provide technical support, troubleshooting and training for system users and security personnel
Experience with C-Cure 9000 or similar access control systems
Work with vendors and contractors for system maintenance and upgrades
Support security projects, including new installations and expansions
Maintain detailed documentation of security software configurations and procedures
Support security audits, update system records, and assist with compliance reporting
Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in building security systems
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master's (or equivalency) degree for Business Systems Analyst, I
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience for Business Systems Analyst, II
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience for Business Systems Analyst, III
Experience with C-Cure 9000 or similar access control systems

Provide technical support, troubleshooting and training for system users and security personnel
Coordinate with security and IT teams to integrate security software with other enterprise systems
Maintain detailed documentation of security software configurations and procedures
