Regulatory Reporting Analyst

AIG is a global leader in commercial and personal insurance solutions, and they are seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join their Policy Reporting and Proof of Coverage Department. The role involves monitoring the accuracy of Workers Compensation data, identifying system issues, and assisting customers with Policy and POC inquiries.

Responsibilities

Identify disconnects, omissions, and errors in underwriting issuance and servicing processes to reduce carrier fines and insured penalties
Interpretation and dissemination of Regulatory requirements/updates and their potential impacts on underwriting processes, issuance systems requirements
Make recommendations on and assist in the coordination of systems changes to maintain data compliance/quality. Responsibilities include writing, testing, and implementing the new/updated requirements
Review U/W systems to confirm accuracy of submissions/issuances
Facilitate communication, cohesion and resolution among underwriters, brokers, and insureds. Attend broker meetings when necessary
Research and clear system and state returned errors from the reporting system in a timely manner by working with the Internal and External parties. Investigate, identify the root cause, and provide solutions for management

Required

Strong analytical & excellent organizational skills
1+ year of business experience. Insurance experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, ability to multitask
Ability to streamline and automate existing processes
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to provide training and guidance
