The Investor Research Intern will identify life science investors and build dialogues with them through online research and interviews, creating detailed profiles for clients raising financing rounds.

Responsibilities
Identify life science investors and build dialogues with them
Perform online research and telephone interviews to profile life science investors including angel groups, VCs, corporate venture capital, endowments, foundations, family offices, hedge funds, private equity firms, and large pharma companies
Discover what types of capital providers are funding companies at each stage of the life science product development process
Create detailed profiles of investors that will be provided to clients raising financing rounds
Cultivate relationships with investor contacts via the RESI Conference and other business activities
Qualification
Required
Strong written and spoken English, editorial skills, and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality, but also with the ability to work and handle projects independently
Ability to work and adapt quickly to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications
Genuine interest in the early-stage life science investment ecosystem, working directly with startup companies and investors
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in STEM or finance
Preferred
Work experience in a startup or VC, or any role that involved working with startups and/or investors -- ideally in biotech or life science
Solid experience with CRM software (i.e. Salesforce, HubSpot)
Graduated within the past calendar year
Based in the Greater Boston Area or open to relocating in the future (currently, we operate as a virtual company)
