Senior Security Architect

The Senior Security Architect will be responsible for securing enterprise information by defining security requirements and designing, implementing, and testing comprehensive security solutions with a strong focus on application security.

Responsibilities
Determine enterprise security requirements and translate them into actionable architectures and controls
Plan, implement, test, and maintain security systems across on-prem, disaster recovery (DR), and cloud environments
Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures
Evaluate network and security technologies to design scalable and secure solutions
Architect and support: Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Routers, firewalls, and related network/security devices
Design and implement Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, including: Certification Authorities (CAs), Digital certificates and digital signatures, Hardware- and software-based cryptographic solutions
Ensure adherence to industry security standards and best practices
Partner closely with software development teams to: Embed security into the SDLC, Support secure application design and deployment, Enable DevSecOps practices and automation
Enhance security team effectiveness by: Planning and delivering security solutions, Answering technical and procedural questions, Teaching improved processes and best practices, Mentoring and developing team members
Qualification
Required
Strong background in Application Security (AppSec) and/or DevSecOps
Demonstrated experience supporting and advising software development teams
Proven track record of integrating security into modern development pipelines
