Responsibilities
Perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of DEIF wind control systems
Provide feedback to Product Management and R&D to improve optimization of installation process
Build structures (tools and ways of working) and foster global cooperation between regions
Collaborate with sales and engage in both pre, and after-sales activities
Conduct technical training for customers
Qualification
Required
Degree in electrical engineering or a technical education with a strong electrical focus, preferably with a relevant wind industry background
Professional experience in Technical Service & Support, ideally within the wind industry
Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global environment with remote teams, acting as a strong team player who enables change and drives work to completion
Self-driven and strongly motivated, with the ability to take ownership of technical issues, proactively follow up on actions, and communicate clearly with technicians, engineering teams and customers
Strong interest in using various digital tools
Capable of working at onshore wind farms (GWO certificates)
Preferred
Being based in the Chicago, IL or Ft. Lauderdale, FL area is an advantage
