Responsibilities
Performing hands-on debugging, validation, and system-level failure analysis of next-generation server and rack systems within a high-mix, high-ambiguity manufacturing environment
Providing guidance and training to other technical personnel
Collaborating with engineering teams, contributing to documentation, and monitoring equipment productivity while adhering to safety guidelines
Troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment at the component level
Installing and configuring infrastructure including servers, racks, switches and other hardware including liquid cooling, power
Providing technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel
Collaborating with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates
Presenting training, when necessary, to the new build and service assembler teams
Contributing to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents
Helping monitor productivity of equipment by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates
Assisting with the installation, debug and validation of Test equipment
Following all safety guidelines and reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor
Developing and maintaining Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA
Providing training and PCBA debugging guidance to other debug technicians
Assisting with the development and delivery of customer presentations and interface with customers
Partnering with engineers on outside third-party developments
Organizing documentation (specifications, schematics, and procedures)
Performing tests per customer specifications and requirements
Qualification
Required
Typically requires an Associates degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience
Typically requires 6 years of related experience
Advanced technical skills
Ability to provide guidance and training to other technical personnel
