Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a smooth, positive, and engaging experience
Review applications, coordinate interviews, and help place candidates into roles that align with their skills and interests
Represent the organization at hiring events and community recruiting activities
Support the day-to-day operations of the employment center, including interviewing, onboarding, and rehire processing
Respond to inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently
Maintain organized, accurate records within HR and hiring systems to support staffing and workforce planning
Track employment eligibility documentation and support compliance with employment regulations
Assist with background checks and other pre-employment requirements to ensure timely hiring decisions
Coach team members on company policies and basic employment practices
Assist with HR projects, training initiatives, and research to support departmental goals
Partner with HR colleagues and cross-functional teams to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment
Contribute to initiatives that promote a healthy, welcoming, and supportive workplace across departments
Help ensure the employment center maintains a clean, professional, and candidate-friendly environment

Required

At least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in engaging with candidates

Preferred

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Prior experience in human resources, recruiting, customer service, or sales (preferred, not required)
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment such as hospitality, retail, or theme parks
Familiarity with HR or applicant tracking systems (e.g., UKG/UltiPro, iCIMS, Smartsheet, Optim8)
Strong data entry and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
