Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening and maintaining cases
Draft motions and letters/correspondence
Litigation support tasks
E filings
Monitor attorney calendars and important deadlines
File organization and management, including electronic storage
Maintain attorney-client confidentiality
Assist and maintain efficient daily operations
Qualification
Required

Well-organized
Previous experience working in a criminal defense law firm
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Criminal Defense Paralegal
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs, among others
Outstanding customer service and the ability to work in a team-driven atmosphere
Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system
Ability to integrate into an existing office system

Professional demeanor and client-oriented focus
Ability to travel and maintain a consistent full-time work schedule of eight hours per day, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 am and 5 pm, in person at our office on Hayden/McDowell in Scottsdale, Arizona
