Responsibilities
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, product, and marketing teams to design and implement reliable, scalable data models and transformation pipelines
Develop and maintain dbt models, macros, tests, and documentation to ensure data accuracy, clarity, and reusability across the organization
Translate business and analytical requirements into well-structured datasets that support reporting, experimentation, and self-service analytics
Champion best practices for data modeling, testing, version control, observability, and documentation within the analytics engineering workflow
Proactively identify and resolve issues related to data quality, model performance, and pipeline efficiency
Contribute to the standardization of metrics, definitions, and semantic layers to drive consistent reporting across business units
Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and technical discussions to continuously strengthen team capabilities
Stay current with modern data tools, frameworks, and best practices to help evolve and scale our analytics engineering stack
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or business intelligence roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake
Hands-on experience with dbt (modular SQL, testing frameworks, Jinja, documentation)
Familiarity with data ingestion tools (e.g., Fivetran) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong understanding of data governance, testing, quality, and lineage principles
Ability to communicate data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
High attention to detail, analytical curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Understanding of data contract concepts and semantic layer design
Preferred
5–7 years of analytics engineering, data modeling, or BI experience
Experience using AI-assisted tools and a willingness to integrate AI into analytics workflows
Experience with modern BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and automation for analytics code deployment
Experience with Python for data scripting, orchestration, or automation
