Responsibilities
Architect Distributed AI Systems: Design and build production-grade distributed systems that serve real-world traffic with high availability
Design and Optimize Inference and RAG Infrastructure: Architect and scale high-performance model inference serving systems and production-grade RAG pipelines, ensuring low-latency retrieval and generation for real-time and batch workloads
Lead Agent Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Build and manage sophisticated agent orchestration layers, including tool-calling, multi-step workflow graphs, and runtime guardrails to power complex autonomous behaviors
Drive Dynamic Learning & Feedback Loops: Develop integrated systems for human-in-the-loop feedback, automated annotation pipelines, and dynamic learning triggers to continuously improve model quality and retrieval accuracy over time
Build Scalable Training and Annotation Pipeline: Oversee the engineering of robust training pipelines and data annotation workflows for fine-tuning and evaluation
Drive Performance Excellence: Implement critical optimizations for latency, throughput, and memory management across both real-time and async (queue-based) workloads
Qualification
Required
Proven experience (10+ years) building and owning production distributed systems that serve high-volume traffic
A track record of shipping AI features using OpenAI, Gemini, or open-source equivalents with production-level reliability
Experience implementing production RAG pipelines, including performance optimizations for vector search and hybrid retrieval (BM25 + vectors + graph)
Proven experience implementing user feedback cycles (human-in-the-loop) that directly improve model or retrieval quality over time
Hands-on experience with LangGraph, Microsoft Agent Framework, or Databricks Agentic Bricks
A background in designing systems with explicit cost awareness and measurable ROI
Experience operating services with defined SLOs/SLAs and managing incident response for platform-critical systems
