Engineering Recruiter

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Engineering Recruiter who will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top engineering talent across multiple disciplines. This role involves managing the full-cycle recruiting process and partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver high-quality candidates in a competitive talent market.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles including entry-level through senior leadership positions
Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, referrals, and industry-specific networks
Screen candidates for technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and candidate presentations
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, timelines, and workforce planning needs
Provide market insights on candidate availability, compensation trends, and hiring strategies
Act as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates from initial outreach through offer acceptance
Effectively communicate job expectations, compensation, and career growth opportunities
Maintain consistent follow-up and transparency to ensure a positive candidate experience
Support offer development, negotiations, and candidate closing
Address candidate concerns and objections throughout the process
Ensure smooth onboarding transition in partnership with HR
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and candidate quality
Continuously improve sourcing strategies and recruiting processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
2+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on engineering or technical roles
Strong understanding of engineering disciplines and technical skill sets
Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

Experience recruiting for manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or software engineering roles
Ability to recruit in high-demand, competitive talent markets
