AVP, Compliance Project Manager
CFSB is a full-service payments, lending and banking provider that delivers global financial services through a personal approach. CFSB is seeking an experienced AVP, Project Manager with experience in compliance within the financial services industry, to join the Central PMO team and support the execution of key strategic data initiatives. Your responsibilities will include developing project plans, raising and tracking issues and risks, providing a weekly status report and facilitating meetings to drive project progress.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end financial crimes compliance projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful execution within defined scope, budget, and timeline
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, IT, risk management, and business units to develop project plans, set objectives, and allocate resources effectively
Work with the BSA/AML or OFAC leader and team to determine and understand business requirements
Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing initiatives at the same time
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and dependencies
Facilitate working group and steering committee meetings by leading discussions, challenging stakeholders, establishing accountability and driving consensus among stakeholders
Create project plans to track deliverables and assist in ensuring a successful delivery of the project
Update PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate project updates, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
Apply quality assurance concepts to validate remediation deliverables and ensure adherence to milestones, criteria, and documentation/evidence
Communicate project status, escalate risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders, providing recommendations for mitigation and resolution
Promote organizational culture and work to improve the overall health of the organization through employee engagement, collaboration, and values alignment
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in a financial institution
Experience in BSA/AML and OFAC
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or similar field or experience
Proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Visio
Deep experience in leading regulatory related transformation programs or projects
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and expectations
Demonstrated experience leading project stakeholders from diverse functional areas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
