Responsibilities
Develop new business and maintain relationships with the client by providing guidance for strategic initiatives regarding Property and Casualty Insurance. (P&C)
Schedule meetings with new opportunities for P&C
Gather the necessary information regarding the accounts, complete required application, and submit this information to the internal marketing department
Prepare (when necessary) and present proposals and plans to prospective clients
Proactively outreach to clients on annual basis for renewal
Meet monthly with Account Manager regarding service needs of current clients
Communicate and present renewal options to the client working with the Account Manager
Managing current book of business
Qualification
Required
Must maintain or obtain a New Jersey Producer License. (Property & Casualty) within 60 days of hire
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance to meet HIG standards
Must adhere to all systems, procedures, and insurance company regulations
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
Must maintain insurance license completing the required continuing education (CE) courses
Must maintain the confidentiality of all confidential information during employment
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and written
Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
