Responsibilities

Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for mills and/or lathes
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting strategies to maximize efficiency and tool life
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor
Collaborate with machinists and management to ensure programs run accurately and efficiently
Support first-article inspections and make program adjustments as needed
Maintain program documentation and revision control
Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and production standards
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to machining processes

Required

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency with Mastercam or other programming software
Solid understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Experience with mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
