Responsibilities
Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures
Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments
Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members
THE FOCUS for this architect is on application security, candidates must have app/sec or DevSecOps experience, and a track record of supporting software development teams
Qualification
Required
Experience in application security or DevSecOps
Track record of supporting software development teams
Ability to secure enterprise information by determining security requirements
Experience in planning, implementing, and testing security systems
Ability to prepare security standards, policies, and procedures
Experience in evaluating network and security technologies
Ability to develop requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices
Experience in designing public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures
Knowledge of hardware and software security solutions
Adherence to industry standards in on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments
Ability to enhance security team accomplishments and competence
Experience in planning delivery of solutions and answering technical and procedural questions
Ability to teach improved processes and mentor team members
