Responsibilities
Work on a variety of tax returns including individual, estate, trust, corporate and partnership returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions, and for a variety of industries
Review the work of staff accountants and participate in one on one group training for the tax department
Serve as lead providers of proactive tax planning, compliance, review and research services for a diverse group of clients in one or more industries
Manage or supervise all phases of client engagements, may have primary client responsibility and, in some cases, may be assigned to manage larger scale projects
Deliver presentations and write articles
Provide leadership, supervision, training and performance feedback to senior and staff level accountants
Qualification
Required
Thorough knowledge of tax in a public accounting setting
Experience working on a variety of tax returns including individual, estate, trust, corporate and partnership returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions
Ability to manage or supervise all phases of client engagements
Experience in providing proactive tax planning, compliance, review and research services
Ability to deliver presentations and write articles
Experience in providing leadership, supervision, training and performance feedback to senior and staff level accountants
Energetic tax professional who wants to be on a leadership track
Desire to build skills and provide top notch client service
Preferred
Experience working with high net worth and family and closely held businesses
