Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of Gen-AI-driven test automation, performance engineering, and data validation solutions
Collaborate with SRE to integrate observability (metrics, logs, traces) into automated tests, improving MTTR and incident readiness
Drive AI experimentation in areas like self-healing tests, autonomous test-case generation, and AI-assisted defect triage
Guide cross-functional teams on modern testing practices such as Shift-Left, DevTestOps, performance testing, and quality governance
Integrate and optimize vendor tools (e.g., LoadRunner, UIPath, LambdaTest) to maximize ROI
Influence testing strategy at an architectural level across complex, integrated systems and platforms
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define quality standards and strategies
Mentor and grow engineering talent, promoting agile best practices and fostering continuous improvement
Stay updated on emerging technologies (Gen-AI, cloud architecture, microservices, observability) and apply them to enhance testing practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on software or quality engineering experience, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Expertise in building and integrating large-scale test automation frameworks within AWS environments
Hands-on experience with Playwright, UIPath, Postman, Pact, or similar testing tools
Exposure to Gen-AI/LLM-powered testing tools and related technologies (e.g., OpenAI)
Familiarity with performance/load testing tools and observability platforms
AWS (80%) and Azure (20%) expertise with Kubernetes and containerization
Deep experience in Playwright, AI-assisted testing, and test automation frameworks
Strong knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, k6, JMeter) and observability platforms (e.g., DataDog)
Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code
Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle for data validation and modernization
Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Senior-level engineer with architectural testing experience
Strong background in SRE, DevOps, QA, and performance engineering
Experience leading AI-driven testing initiatives (self-healing, autonomous test-case generation)
Comfortable in a hybrid environment, collaborating with globally distributed teams
Proficient in data validation frameworks and performance testing tools
Strong communicator, able to effectively present and align strategies across leadership teams
Comfortable mentoring and growing the technical skills of others in the team
Preferred
Candidates based in Indianapolis, IN, Portsmouth, NH, or Boston, MA are preferred
Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, testing tools, or observability
Experience with Power BI for analyzing and reporting on testing metrics
