Responsibilities
Own and execute the technology and AI roadmap, aligned to BBCS’s Vision and 10-Year Target
Lead the thoughtful, secure, and compliant integration of AI and automation into products and internal operations
Oversee the architecture and performance of our AWS-hosted SaaS platforms
Drive excellence in Agile/Scrum execution, improving sprint success, quality, and delivery predictability
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing, values-aligned technology team
Manage technology P&L, budgets, and vendor strategy to maximize ROI
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Client Success, Sales, and Finance to ensure technology drives measurable business value
Establish and track KPIs through EOS scorecards and quarterly Rocks
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and AI-enabled development
Qualification
Required
Senior technology leadership experience in regulated SaaS, healthcare, or medical device environments
Proven success building and leading high-performing engineering organizations
Experience integrating AI, automation, and advanced analytics into enterprise software products
Deep technical knowledge of: Cloud platforms (AWS), Modern software development (Java, Vue.js, MySQL/Aurora), APIs (RESTful), Cybersecurity best practices
Strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership skills
Ability to inspire teams, drive accountability, and translate vision into execution
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required
Preferred
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) preferred
Experience working in FDA-regulated environments is a plus
Project management and leadership certifications a plus
