Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, support client communications, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards
Support Project Managers in delivering large-scale water and wastewater conveyance projects from planning through construction
Execute the client’s objectives by preparing construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
Actively participate in project meetings and facilitate completion of action items to ensure timely progress
Lead the preparation of design calculations, system modeling, and hydraulic analyses for pipelines, pump stations, force mains, and collection systems
Team with senior engineers to identify and evaluate innovative technical solutions
Assist in preparing materials for client presentations, progress updates, and decision-making sessions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license required (California PE preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months)
5+ years of experience in water/wastewater conveyance systems
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with hydraulic modeling software a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving and task execution
